History Of The Swauk Valley
Gold, cows, horses, water, and hay are what the Swauk Valley has been known for, for over 125 years.
Since the 1870’s until the present day, the Ranch on Swauk Creek has been a working cattle and horse ranch.
Over the last century the ranch has grown to now cover 1,000 acres of forest and pasture lands.
The Cattle Barn
The Cattle Barn is no longer the home to cattle and horses but has been remodelled into a stunning rustic event center for those looking for a romantic rustic wedding near Cle Elum.
The Ranch House
The Ranch is home to the oldest stick framed ranch house in Kittitas county built in the late 1800's. This is available for the wedding party to get ready on the day of your event.
In the early 1800’s the ranch was a prize area where the local tribes would hunt in the summers. Arrow heads have been found in many places on the property.
