Plan your Cattle Barn wedding

Bring Your Dog to Your Ranch Wedding

Yes, your dog can be part of your ranch wedding at The Cattle Barn, by arrangement with Nancy. Many couples include their dog in portraits or as ring bearer. Because this is a working ranch with horses, cattle and ranch dogs, the arrangement covers the couple’s own dog only; guests are asked to leave pets at home.

Plan your pet’s part as carefully as the rest of your day. Think about who will look after them while you are getting ready, where they will wait between photographs and what happens when their part in the celebration is finished. On your tour, discuss the spaces you want to use and how your plans fit around the ranch’s horses, cattle and dogs.

How to arrange it

  1. Tell Nancy about your dog and how you would like to include them.
  2. Discuss the spaces, timing and handling plan with Nancy before your wedding.
  3. Choose someone to care for your dog, and share the agreed plan with your photographer.
